Hi everyone,
I work overseas and mainly follow the various thread that come in. Normally when I get to them so many people have answered that my input is not needed.
I've seen a lot of sharing of files and would like to offer two forms that I have developed recently.
I frewuently work in desert areas where dehydration is a huge problem when the temperature is up to 52 centigrade. I developed the dehydration assessment scale hile working at a very remote gold mine in Australia, as a guide to the assessment and treatment and also as a means of 'incident reporting'. I'm sure dehydration is not such an issue in the Uk but might be useful in steelworks, underground mining, bakeries and foundries etc.
The other form came about after being asked to assess a few telecoms people in Angola, before climbing a large telecom mast to do some maintenance. I couldn't find anything to assess them against and put together the Work At Heights Asessment form.
You are all welcome to use them.
