Please find attached the first announcement of
our International French-German summer school
"The Study of Biomimetic systems" (BIOSYS 2008)
to be hold in the CAES-CNRS Center, Villa Clythia
Sept 21st to 27th 2008. Detailed information, on

The school is supported by the French-German
university (UFA/DFH) but is open to researchers
of any nationality. It addressed to Master
students (M2), Ph.D students, post-docs and
permanent researchers in chemistry, physics,
biochemistry, and astrobiology, who want to get
highest quality training in the field.
The language of the school will be English.
The participants will be able to present their
own research as posters during the school.
Registration fees include 6 nights in double
room, full boarding, and documents (CD Rom of the
lectures and notes produced by working groups).
They are 400 euros for permanent researchers and
300 euros for students and post-docs. A limited
number (4 to 6) of 500 euro grants are
available to cover registration fees and part of
the travel expenses (students and postdocs only).
Interested candidates are invited to submit their
abstract and CV. The candidates to be awarded
will be selected by the scientific committee of
the school and will be asked to present their research in a seminary (30
min).
