Typical isn't it! Adobe have now reported that:
"The problem was that the European cache for Akamai was not flushed properly. This issue should now be resolved. Please let us know if you encounter this problem still."
So hopefully you should not need my fix!
Cheers

Subject: Adobe Digital Editions 1.5 install problem
Are you suffering from the current install problem with ADE 1.5 (keeps cycling you back to install again without running the program)? Adobe insist it is a cache problem but it must be outside your individual computer because it will not install for me. So here is a work round. It can only be done by individuals on their own computers or by staff on theirs (if they have administrative rights). It cannot be done if the person does not have administrative rights (eg: open access).
Hopefully Adobe will get the problem fixed quickly Regards Graham
