Lectureship in Human Geography at the University of Edinburgh (fixed term of
2.5 years)
The School of GeoSciences is seeking a lecturer to teach a variety of
courses, including contributions to introductory human geography courses,
methods courses in human geography, and MSc teaching in human dimensions of
environmental change or sustainability. You will also be required to
supervise undergraduate honours students and MSc students.
Your research activities will cut across two of the School's research groups
- the Human Geography Research Group and the Centre for the Study of
Environmental Change and Sustainability (CECS). Our preference is for
research related to human processes and behaviours affecting environmental
sustainability.
Fixed Term: 2.5 years
Salary Scale: £34,793 - £41,545 p.a. (Due to financial constraints the
initial appointment will be made no higher than step 1 on the salary scale)
