Lectureship/Senior Lectureship in Medical Statistics
Salary on grade 8 or 9 (£34,793 to £49,606)
Closing date 31 May 2008
The Department is one of three academic Divisions of a new School of Health
and Medicine, the others being Health Research, and Biomedical and Life

an MRC Research Fellow, four post-doctoral researchers and five research

in cognate areas and to take a prominent role in the delivery of the
statistical aspects of Lancaster University’s contribution to Health
Research Design Services North West (RDS), a programme of work funded by
the National Institute for Health Research to provide advice on research
design to NHS and University staff in developing grant proposals.
The post is available at either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level, according
to the qualifications, experience and track-record of the successful
candidate. For an informal discussion, contact Prof Peter Diggle, Department
of Medicine (tel +44 (0)1524 593957, email [log in to unmask]).
