Hi
I am trying to deploy apps. We are planning to move to SCCM
at the start of next year before we start our Vista move.
We are pleased to hear it represents an improvement. The
logs basically say "bad environment".
Regards
Mike

Hi,
What are you trying to do to Vista Sp1 deploy the OS Via OSD or push out
applications?
I must admit we jumped right into a SCCM upgrade to bypass potential
issues (then decided to bypass Vista for a while too)
I don't regret the upgrade at all SCCM is while still a pig much more
user friendly and responsive than SMS.
Are you getting any errors in your Execmgr.log or
contenttransfermanager.log

Subject: Vista SP1 with SMS SP3
Hello (Sorry for the reposting)
Has anyone tried using it with Vista SP1 with SMS SP3?
We have had problems. We have installed hotfix KB939332
on the SMS Site server to allow SMS to recognise SP1
computer are Vista Boxes. This appears to have worked.
However, we are still having problem installing directly
from the distribution point. We get a dialog saying the
program files are inaccessible.
Does this ring any bells with anyone?
Regards
Mike
