Work for TfW - Travel Plan Advisor
£23,749-£25,320 pa
This is a unique opportunity to work in a rapidly developing area, in an organisation that is acknowledged as being one of the leaders in the field. The nationally acclaimed Travel for Work Partnership (TfW) is hosted by Cambridgeshire County Council, one of TfW's eleven partners and its principal funder, at offices in the city of Cambridge. The TfW team of three officers (including this post) works with a growing network of over 57 employers who employ in nearly 48,000 commuting staff.
You will promote workplace travel plans to employers based in the southern half of Cambridgeshire, helping them to reduce their environmental impact by facilitating access to more sustainable forms of commuting and business travel. You will help manage and develop services for employers including the Travel Plan Award scheme and online travel surveys.
Educated to at least A level standard, you will have experience of working with a variety of organisations and professions, and will ideally have a background in travel planning, marketing, business, environment, health or transport.
With excellent communication, IT and facilitation skills, you will be a persuasive and creative advocate of sustainable forms of transport and have some understanding of travel demand management.
