Folks,
As you know, we're keen to get your input to the IWMW08 planning process
so, hot on the heels of the April date, can we try a date in May please?
When - 16th May, 1230 for 1300hrs start
Where - Collins Building, University of Strathclyde
As an added incentive, Russ Foster from NedStat will be coming up to
Scotland to continue his meetings on current customers' ongoing issues.
I would propose that only Sitestat users attend this part of the day and
we run it slightly before the main meeting. Perhaps starting at 10am? I
am happy to chair a T4 session at the same time if folk would be
interested in that - this would be a peer-to-peer update primarily for
current users although all would be welcome if you would like to find
out more about the software.
Having spoken to Mike, a more concrete agenda has been proposed :
- IWMW08 Planning, especially group discussion planning
- An update from Aberdeen staff on a training course with the folk who
work at Scriptaculous (http://script.aculo.us/)
- A presentation/discussion from Stewart Pleace of Connect 2 marketing
(http://www.connect2marketing.co.uk/). I worked with Stewart at
Prudential and he's a bit of a boffin when it comes web design,
usability, user journeys, stats and other related areas
- An update from Aberdeen staff on web work making use of Web 2.0
technologies
- Demo of Google maps / Apex mashup from Abertay for IWMW08 (if David
can join us on this date)
Please respond by 18/4/08.
Regards,
Duncan
