Ahhhh.....well of course you'll want to go to Glasgow, ROwl - and the very
school where Bessie MacNicol studied art, too (1887-1892). She's best known
for her portrait of E A Hornel (at Kirkcudbright), but her self-portrait and
"Woman with a Green Hat" (I believe that's the title), are astonishing in
wild-and-perfect wielded brushtrokes and subtle colour-mixing. Damn shame
she died so young (34 years old).
It's a no-brainer, your choosing btn Glasgow and Cardiff !!! - Scottish
whiskey (thank you, Bear) (and does Wales even _make_ whiskey?) being a
significant persuader, as well as that dear little Scottish critter, the
mountain-climbing haggis.
A reunion before you toddle off mite be the thing.......
Be bold!!!! Quit reading now, and go do some artwerks !
and keep us posted,
Joodles
(Wot's laver bread?)
