Dear Ox list,
I get a "File error" message: "Some number formats may have been lost"
every time I open an Excel file exported from Ox. However, the data
content seems to be properly saved; but it is annoying.
(Excel 2000 SP-3 on Windows 2000 SP 4)
Also, there is an undocumented feature to load and save comma-separated
files, using the Database class: just give the file a .csv extension,
and the use of Load and Save will behave as you expect: data will be
loaded or saved with the data column names on the first line (and, in
the case of Save, a first column with an observation index and no header).
/Tom
