Dear All
I wish to remind you all of the annual ANHONS conference on 10th April at
the Birmingham Motorcycle Museum.
The programme consists of some new invigorating speakers, looking at
important but often ignored, aspects of Occupational Health as well as
some hot topics that we are all dealing with both inside and outside the
NHS. These include:
* Men’s Health by Peter Baker Chief Executive Men’s Health Forum
* Occupational Stealth! The Benefits of a Healthy Voice in the Work Place
by Phyllida Furse, Development Officer,Voice Care Network
*Health & Wellbeing by Bridget Juniper Work and Well-Being Ltd
*Dealing with Difficult People by Martin Davies Talking Life
*Occupational Health Aspects of Sleep by Dr Louise Reyner,Sleep Research
Centre,Loughborough University
*CBT Workshop by Alan Dovey & Sharon Willday,Consultant CBT
Psychotherapists
*Interpretation of the new immunisation & vaccination Guidance Workshop
by Carol Hargreaves, ATOS Healthcare
We realise that this is a difficult time of year in terms of the budget
cycle but, as long as payment is prompt in April, ANHONS is happy to wait
until after the Conference for invoices to be settled and I hope this
helps those of you having difficulty with getting funding approved.
For a booking form please contact the chair of ANHONS, Mary Brassington
via email: [log in to unmask]
Finally, whether or not you are attending the Conference, please take time
out to complete the wellbeing survey by going to the website
www.workandwellbeing.com and on the home page you will see the ‘Client
Sign-IN Section’.
Please use the following details to access the ANHONS questionnaire:
