The following scholarships are available for study towards a PhD starting in 2008.
School of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures (SMLLC) - Italian
Postgraduate scholarships for entry in 2008/09
One 3-year Thomas Holloway Studentship (£7,500 plus Home/EU fee waiver per annum) open to PhD candidates in French, German, Hispanic Studies, Italian or a combination of these.
One 3-year School Research Bursary (£,6000) open to PhD candidates in French, German, Hispanic Studies, Italian or a combination of these.
One 1-year School Research Bursary (£4,000) open to a successful candidate for an MA by Research award in French, German, Hispanic Studies, Italian.
Italian: Up to 2 part-time language assistantships combined with full-time PhD scholarship (£6,000 plus Home/EU fee waiver per annum).
Closing date for application for the above awards: Monday May 12th 2008.
