another test message to those signed up to the list.
Sorry for the delay in advertising this network to the whole list (and to
other lists), but i'm still waiting for a few minor corrections to be made
to the 'home page' of the list, which briefly sets out the goals of the
policy group. (It's basically a summary of the article that appeared in
3D, the Meccsa newsletter). I want to make sure this is Ok before
advertising it more widely.
there are a couple of initiatives already under way. First, Ivor Gaber is
collecting information on behalf of VLV, but which could perhaps also be
used for other colleagues too, for an informed response to the Ofcom PSB
review. More details about this will be sent out very shortly.
second, I'm going to forward the Save Kids TV Newsletter to the list, and
hope it gets through. The SKTV initiative was one of the issues that kick-
started the policy network idea, when some of us got together to respond
to Ofcom's review of children's broadcasting provision last october.
At the moment the list has 15 members, and as list co-ordinator, I get a
note of everyone who applies to sign up to it, via the Meccsa website -
this is simply for record-keeping purposes, but I imagine there's a
vetting function too, if we needed it.
best wishes
Máire
