Three AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Awards
Department of Theatre, Film and Television Studies
The Department of Theatre, Film and Television Studies seeks to appoint to
three fully funded AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Awards.
The PhD studentships, each of which will begin 1 October 2008 and support
three years of full-time study, are available for programmes of research
with three leading cultural institutions –
Edinburgh International Film Festival
Edinburgh International Film Festival retrospectives

Flagship festivals: the changing role of the Edinburgh International
Festival

Mull Theatre
Building theatres/theatre buildings: reinventing Mull Theatre
Supervisors Ms Minty Donald, Professor Adrienne Scullion and Mr Alasdair
McCrone, artistic director Mull Theatre

The studentships will cover the standard tuition fees and the AHRC
standard stipend grant – £12,600 in 2007/2008 – with an additional
maintenance contribution from the AHRC of £500 pa and a small additional
amount pa from the non-academic partners.
