KEELE CAMPAIGN: URGENT FINANCIAL APPEAL FROM BUIRA FOR HALF-PAGE PROTEST IN GUARDIAN
Dear colleagues and friends,
The British Universities Industrial Relations Association (BUIRA) needs your financial
help to raise the tempo of the growing and worldwide opposition to the proposed job cuts
at Keele University.
We are taking out a half-page display in the main Guardian paper under the heading
'Critical Thinking under Attack in Universities' on Tues, 6th May.
We need to raise £7450 very quickly to do this. Therefore we are making an urgent appeal
for financial donations to all those appalled at the Keele jobs threat, and especially to
the 450+ open letter signatories.
