Dear all,
I have had a query passed on to me. Is anyone able to help this trainee ...?
I am wondering about the numbers of Chartered Psychologists who are taking taught Stage 2 doctorates as 'top ups' in order to obtain the professional title and 'consolidate' all previous training?
I am an example of someone who became chartered in first year on the basis of five years previous work. This is an advantage as it allows some of the course work to be APEL'd. However, I often feel 'in limbo' as I am not a trainee as such, but working towards the same ultimate aim as everyone else.
I would be interested in finding out if there are many others in this position. I am aware of one other in Scotland.
Thanks,
Alice
