GIS/GPS Survey Sales Consultant
£50K after 3 months probation (£25-35K start), can earn over £60, company
car
Role: To maximise sales of Trimble GPS, GeoSite Software and Spatial
Imaging products.
Qualifications and Experience
Computer literate is essential
Experience of GIS market would be beneficial
Previous sales experience
Experience in the use of GPS in construction and surveying
Aptitude and Skills
Self motivated and be able to achieve results with a minimum level of
supervision
Must be capable of working to sales targets and deadlines
Superior Teamwork and Excellent Communication skills
Must have a sense of ‘urgency’
The desire and will to succeed in a competitive environment.
Must be tenacious,
Capable of handling rejection and have a sense of humour.
Capable of delivering results
Location
Home based in the South West – imagine a line from Aberystwyth to Oxford to
Southampton – everything south of that.
Principle Accountabilities
To maintain current customer levels and open opportunities for selling to
the existing customer base, to generate ‘desire’ with prospects to convert
prospects to customers to grow the business. To negotiate with customers
and prospects to
profitably ‘close orders’.
The Right Candidate
The right candidate will be a self-starter, with evidence of sales success
in a business-to-business service environment. You will have experience of
construction or land surveying GPS equipment, be ambitious and have a
successful sales track record. You will have excellent communication
skills, written and verbal, and outstanding negotiation and presentation
abilities at all levels. Above all you will have the confidence, commitment
and ability to sell innovative solutions in the surveying industry.
