Dear John:
I was interested to learn from this that you are working on procedures
for analyzing eye fixations on dynamic scenes. I wonder if you have made
progress on this. We are starting to do studies of eye tracking on
animations and are grappling with analysis issues like moving areas of
interest and how to distinguish saccades from pursuit eye movements, so
I would be interested in hearing of any progress you have made on these
issues, or if you know of anyone else who is working on this.
Also, good to know that Thomas Wolbers, who is currently a postdoc with
me and Jack Loomis, will be your colleague in Edinburgh next year!
