Keynote Speaker Professor Alan Walker: 'The Future of Research on Ageing'
Dear Colleagues,
On the 3rd June 2008 the Institute of Gerontology will be celebrating the
21st anniversary of its MSc Gerontology and the launch of our new degree
programmes in Global Ageing and Public Policy & Ageing. Professor Alan
Walker will be giving the keynote address on 'The Future of Research on
Ageing', with additional reflections on ageing research from present and
past directors of the Institute, myself, and Professors Janet Askham and
Anthea Tinker.
We would be delighted if you could join us for all or any part of our
afternoon programme (details below), which begins with a buffet lunch at
12.15pm and will be followed by a wine reception from 5pm.
