The United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) will be
organizing the "International Environmental Nanotechnology Conference:
Applications and Implications" that will be held in Chicago during October
7-9, 2008.
Topics to be covered include: water remediation (surface water and
groundwater), soil and sediment remediation, water pollution control, air
pollution control, nano-enabled sensing, environmental fate & transport,
biological exposure, and toxicity.
Abstracts (400 words or less) for either platform or poster presentations
are due by May 1, 2008. A biography of 200 words or less for each author
should accompany every abstract.

The conference will be held in Hyatt Regency Chicago, in downtown Chicago,
which is ideally situated to experience the Chicago’s Magnificent Mile,

Observatory, Sears Tower, and several museums.
