I have attached a poster as a pdf and below is some text that I wrote about
the work.... Please email on to any intrested parties.

The drawings I have made during my Fellowship at The Ballinglen Arts
Foundation have been a filtering of place and my experience of it. My
physical experience and engagement with the environment are fundamental to
this body of work.
“Drawing on Ireland” derives from my bodily interaction with my subject
matter as I make rubbings over land formations. This process of drawing
combines and embodies my physical gestures with the qualities of the rock
face on the paper’s surface. For me these drawings could be seen as a
manifestation of a performance. They record my actions unfolding over time,
making concrete a record of “real time”.
The formations I observe and collect are composed into rhythms, layered,
woven and constructed. I assemble motives observed in, on and through
seaweed, the sea, land, rocks, sky and the saturated light of the
environment.
