Hello all!
Forgive the cross-postings, please.
The newest edition of the following sociology textbook has an expanded
section on disability which includes writings by several disability studies
scholars (both UK and US) as well as more analysis in the editors' framework essays
about the social construction of disability. It is suitable for courses
across a wide variety of academic disciplines. Also, this edition marks the
first time this reader has "Disability" in its subtitle which represents the
fact that, at last, the book gives equal attention to disability comparable to
race, sex and gender, social class, and sexual orientation.
