Apologies for cross posting.

The Faculty of Health and Social Care is seeking high-quality applications
from qualified candidates for at least three full-time fully funded

In addition, the Faculty has +3 FT recognition from the ESRC for suitably

Two of the studentships relate to specific projects:

Applicants need to be fluent in at least one Chinese language

2. Becoming research aware: implementing and documenting the move towards
an evidence-based approach to research in a young people's sexual health
organisation

Funded by Brook Advisory Centres in collaboration with The Open University

In addition there is potential for an open studentship:

3. Faculty studentship/s

Suggested topics for these open studentships fall into the general areas
of: parenting; children and young people; ageing; end of life; learning
difficulties; participative methodology

The Faculty of Health and Social Care has a lively post-graduate student
group undertaking wide-ranging research both in the UK and internationally.
More details about the entry criteria and possible research topics are
provided in the further particulars

Closing date for the above studentships is 12 noon on 22 April 2008 with
interviews mid May 2008

Studentships commence on 1 October 2008. Applicants must normally reside in
the UK
