Knowledge and Information Management Advisor
£19,025 per annum, pro rata
William the Conqueror was a pioneer of information management
commissioning the Domesday book in 1085. It recorded who owned or lived
on the land, what livestock they kept, how much the land was worth, and
what taxes were owed to the Crown.
The Domesday book is one of 10million records held at The National
Archives, but conquering information management is as important today and
The Knowledge and Information Management team here is responsible for
managing internal information and records.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for someone to gain experience in
managing paper and electronic records using an Electronic Document and
Records Management system (EDRMs). You will use a variety of systems
including the EDRMs, the intranet-wiki and the registry management
database to effectively manage internal information and records. This is a
6month contract to cover maternity leave.
If you have proven experience in records management, understanding of
issues surrounding electronic records, an eye for detail and the ability
to work on your own initiative we would like to hear from you.
