Our multidisciplinary team of dedicated professionals is based in
Cambridge (UK) and Limburg Germany). We now have the following opportunity
within our Data Management and Statistics Department: Statistician.
In this key role, you will be responsible for biometric support of
European clinical studies and projects, ensuring that the evaluation and
validation is in accordance with international guidelines (ICH/GCP) and
internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will be required to
give clear and decisive leadership for appropriate statistical input to
study protocols, study reports and publications. Working independently you
should also enjoy working collaboratively with the cross-functional
project and study teams to ensure there is a complete understanding of the
statistical requirements for the projects in fulfilling the research
& Development objectives.
The role requires a first degree in statistics or related field and
ideally an MSc or higher degree in Medical Statistics or equivalent.
Experience in planning and evaluation of clinical studies from phase I to
phase IV and knowledge of medical terminology is essential. Strong
interpersonal skills with team spirit and an ability to set priorities,
make decisions and deliver high quality results will be critical to your
