The University wishes to develop its commitment to the Centre for
Statistical Science and Operational Research (CenSSOR) through investment
in 3 new academic posts.
CenSSOR is a vibrant research centre, whose members have nurtured a strong
research environment and team spirit. Their work is enriched by many
collaborations with other research groups, both multidisciplinary and
specialist in Statistics & Operational Research (SOR). Current research
interests of CenSSOR include Survival Analysis, Bayesian Networks, Markov
Modelling and Stochastic Models. Substantial research funding from both
national and international sources continues to underpin this research
effort.
CenSSOR is now seeking to build on this success. Successful candidates will
be expected to develop their own research plans, while demonstrating a
commitment to teaching excellence at all levels in SOR. The posts are also
an ideal opportunity for anyone wishing to return to Academia.

Salary scale:
Lecturer £30,012 - £44,074 per annum (including contribution points)
Reader £42,791 - £54,206 per annum (including contribution points)
