The role in outline:
Working across the University’s Human Resources and Student Services
Departments, the Diversity Projects Manager will be responsible for
reviewing and updating the University’s diversity policies and assurance
framework, further embedding and mainstreaming diversity and guiding and
enabling others to operate and maintain an effective diversity
framework. The key outcome of this work will be the delivery of a single
equality scheme, initially updating the component parts, including the
Gender Equality Scheme, Race Equality Scheme and Disability Equality
Scheme. You will also produce and deliver guidance, templates and
training to University Departments to improve local knowledge and
ability in areas such as; conducting impact assessments, and effective
local diversity planning.
