New Media Innovations in Teaching and Learning - Inaugural Workshop

An inaugural workshop focused on New Media Innovations in Teaching and
Learning will be held on the Scarborough Campus of the University of Hull on
the 2nd June 2008. This inaugural workshop will provide practitioners with
the opportunity to explore how New Media is being used in a variety of
different teaching and learning contexts to resolve problems, enhance
learning, improve student motivation etc… This forum will provide a place
to share good practice, question new approaches, describe innovations and
discuss topics of current interest related to the usage of new media in
teaching and learning practice. The workshop will feature two keynote
presentations (Lawrie Phipps of JISC and Mark van Haremelen of the
University of Manchester) and a range of teaching and learning practice
based session presentations (see agenda on website).
Registration for this inaugural workshop, is now open. There is no charge
for this event.
