Fiona Kelty, Access Officer from National Council for the Blind in Ireland
(NCBI) has asked me to pass on the following response to this query;
I can make a suggestion to the person looking for a corduroy tactile warning
surface which can be retrofitted: stick-down tiles. They have been used in
various sites in Dublin and so far there are no problems with them (they've
been down about 5 years in one place, no peeling corners or complaints about
them being a trip hazard or anything like that, to the best of my knowledge
- and I DO usually hear about such problems/complaints!!)
I'm attaching the supplier's details.
