Hi Joan
Not overseas but you should consider the DOMINO teams at ADHB who care for women in the ADAPT team and those in the Feto/maternal medicine team. Ann Yates is probably the best first contact. We offer a complex care pathway through our pg cert programme that is currently being offered in collaboration with NWH if you are looking at ongoing practice development areas at all.
Cheers
Jackie

I have PhD student who is looking at developing up a project describing
the way midwifery group practices construct their work around caring for
populations of high need or high deprivation. I am currently undertaking
a practice development project with one such group in New Zealand who
work out of a community owned primacy health care service. Her work
will develop this investigation, looking at international models of
midwifery which focus on such work. We are currently looking at the
feasibility of this and wonder if we could have some ideas as to
possible sites that she could visit. We are focusing of sites in the
UK and/ or Australia and have some ideas but would welcome any other
possibilities or suggestions. Sites outside these 2 countries could
also be welcome. Any other research currently being undertaken would
also be appreciated as collaboration with this project would be
interesting. Many thanks, Joan Skinner
