1) There will be a one-hour discussion "Pitfalls for librarians in Second Life"
on 17 April 2008, 12 noon SL time (8pm UK time), on Infolit iSchool (45, 202,
22) in the virtual world, Second Life.
Discussion is led by Pam Ribble, (Pam Dowsett in Real Life), who will outline
some pitfalls for librarians setting up services in SL - and tips on how to
avoid them! Pam has extensive experience as a SL mentor and working on the SL
reference desk.
You will need a Second Life avatar to attend and then need to teleport to the
above location: Infolit iSchool (45, 202, 22)
2) There is a transcript of the discussion "Information Literacy and web 2.0"
that took place on Infolit iSchool on 10th April 2008, in the virtual world
