Hi all,
(Appologies for cross posting.)
Please see details below on this years NatSCA conference in Glasgow;
This year's annual conference is being held in Glasgow on 15th and 16th
May and there is plenty of time left to join in. The conference theme is
'Collections and Partnerships' and we have a variety of speakers
describing a number of partnerships where Museums have worked
successfully with each other or external partners to achieve genuinely
useful results. Please see the attached draft programme - speakers are
finalised and talk titles and abstracts will be posted shortly. We hope
these working examples of partnerships will inspire and inform us. There
are opportunities to tour collections and exhibits at the Hunterian and
Kelvingrove museums, Glasgow Botanic Gardens, Fossil Grove and an
optional field trip to lovely Rowardennan on Loch Lomond. Support YOUR
NatSCA, learn something, enjoy yourself, meet new people, exchange ideas
or even get involved in running the Association - it's is all good
stuff!!!
Details of the conference are on the website - www.natsca.org. You'll
find a booking form and an accommodation list.
