ARLIS/UK & Ireland Conference: Come Together Right Now
23 - 25 July 2008
University of Liverpool
This year Conference is running Poster Sessions as a showcase for the
professional interests, skills and expertise of Arlis members. If you
are planning to attend Conference this is your opportunity to
participate more fully. This is the first time we have done this and we
need you to make it a success!
The sessions will run on Friday 25 July from 10.45 until 12.30. This is
your chance to tell fellow Arlis members about projects, activities or
research that you are involved in, either individually or as part of a
group. A display board will be provided. Posters need to be colourful
and eye-catching and can be accompanied by handouts. Contributors should
be on hand to answer questions.
We all know that Arlis members are involved in a wide variety of
exciting projects and activities and this is your chance to tell
everyone about them. Participation will be something to add to your CV
and as evidence of continuing professional development for CILIP
Chartership or revalidation purposes. All contributors will be presented
with a certificate. Guidelines and an application form can be found on
the Arlis web site: http://www.arlis.org.uk/
The closing date for applications is 1 May and the Conference Working
Party will make their decision known on 1 June.
The Conference Working Party is really looking forward to hearing from you!
NB. If you are unable to access the Arlis website please email me and I
will send the application form and guidelines to you.
