Suzy & Debbie,
I suspect that Nonconformist burial grounds are not at all rare and seem to recall at least one being discussed in one of the local Staffs journals; mabe NSJFS.

Dear All
We have had a pre-FEP enquiry from Natural England regarding a very
small (0.014ha) Baptist burial ground, which is located in the corner of
one of the farmer's fields. It is located in the uplands of North
Staffordshire. Within the burial ground are two gravemarkers one of
which is inscribed "Died the 17 of March 1687". It was apparently last
used in 1780, although it is marked (as disused) on the First Edition 6"
OS map. There are also the remains of a stone-built wall enclosing the
burial ground. We have several Quaker burial grounds recorded at a
similar date, but none of these survive except as field names on tithe
maps.
I was therefore wondering if anyone had anything similar, particularly
in a rural context? I have some photographs which I can send if anyone
is particularly interested.
Thanks
Debbie
