The University of Edinburgh Information Services network team install cisco,
currently 1131 previously 1200.
However we are expected to accomodate anybody who buys their own kit
and wishes to add it to the network - sigh.
We also have a bluesocket to deal with web-redirection - another sigh.
> The size of your installation - access points and users
420 APs, max 700 concurrent users so far seen from a registered
userbase of 20000
Most of them use web-redirection
We have gradually grown to this size and the growth is accelerating.
We use homegrown management tools to keep track and are desperately keen
to have an integrated managed solution.
> Quality of support
The quality of support from bluesocket has been a little disappointing,
which is a big factor in our wanting an integrated managed solution.
