Hi
We are currently going through a campus-wide rollout of Cisco equipment.
We have 2 x WiSMs, 1 x 4404
(serving a new campus in Cardiff) and a pair of Catalyst 3750 switches
with integrated wireless modules
to serve some smaller sites.
In total we're looking to deploy around 600 AP's (mixture of 1242's and
1131s), with about 300 currently
out there.
We're using WCS (Wireless Control Server), which is okay, though it
could be better. Some of the
information I would like to see sometimes needs "digging out".
Hope this helps.

Subject: Re: Quick Question
Hello,
At the Open University we currently have around 200 access points and
have plans to install up to 100 more in the next couple of months.
Originally we had used the Airespace solution, before they were brought
out by Cisco and over time have upgraded so now we use Cisco 4400's and
the Cisco WCS management software. The bulk of our access points are the
AP1131AG's but we do have some of the old AP1010 AP's still in use.
I have not really had the need to contact tech support yet, so i can't
really comment on this.
