Hi All,
At Cranfield we have just started replacing our seven BlueSockets and
Cisco 1200's APs with the Trapeze system. We have three MX400s and about
120 mobility points put out so far, all been quite painless really.
On our residential network, we have three Cisco 1200's coming back
through Cisco 350 bridges for the backhaul and into a BlueSocket.
We're looking to replace this with a mesh solution and considering the
Strix/Briteyellow solution. Has anybody had any experience or considered
the Strix equipment.
Cheers.

Subject: Quick question
Hi everyone,
We at Bristol are doing a little research into what other universities
are doing with their wireless networks. Basically we are planning an
expansion and are evaluating whether to stick with Cisco or move to a
different supplier.
Could I have a quick show of hands of the following:
Which brand of hardware you use
The size of your installation - access points and users
How much you paid for it
Any comments on:
Technical support / maintenance
Quality of management features
Thanks for your time :)
Jonathan
