You might find my experiences recalled in "Bleedin' Islamophobia" (Q News,

Why only white?

Subject: Introduction, Islamophobia and Muslim converts
Dear all,
I'm currently doing my PhD in the Sociology Department of Lancaster
University. The thesis topic I'm working on is White Muslim converts'
experiences of Islamophobia. I'm specifically interested in thinking about
what this might tell us about the relationship between ethnicity and
religion as well as the relationship between Islamophobia and racism.
Any useful contacts, literature or other research materials that anyone
happens to know of or come across would be greatly appreciated!
Best wishes,
Leon
