We have pleasure in inviting you to join us at this seminar organised by
the Social Care Workforce Research Unit. The seminar will introduce a new
longitudinal study of the social care workforce and aims to gain the
perspectives of different stakeholders to help inform the development of
the study. The day will include presentations on the policy background from
the Department of Health, and on the study from the research team.
There will be afternoon discussion groups on:
1. Changing demographic profile of the workforce
2. Motivations and career expectations
3. Meeting the needs of service users and carers
4. Key issues in attracting and retaining staff
Please let us know if you are able to attend, and which discussion group
you would like to join, as well as any access or dietary requirements you
have, by emailing:
Cian O'Neill at [log in to unmask] or call Cian on 020 7848 1782.
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries and please pass
