WITH APOLOGIES FOR CROSS-POSTING
Family & Parenting Institute’s expert seminar:
Putting Sibling Relationships on the map: A multidisciplinary perspective
Sibling relationships are an important aspect of family life, parenting and
child development. However, this issue has received relatively little
attention in public and social policy discourses. Prominence has been given
to parents and the parent-child relationships. This expert seminar is going
to redress the balance.
This expert seminar brings together leading researchers and practitioners
from different academic disciplines who will talk about their research into
sibling relationships. They will also consider issues of sibling
relationships for family support over the next decade
This one-day seminar will be held at the conference room in The Diana,
Princess of Wales Memorial Fund, County Hall in Westminster, London, on
Wednesday, 30 April 2008.
Attendance is free and refreshments will be provided. Numbers are strictly
limited to 50 and so early registration is encouraged.
