Outreach Officer (physics.org) – Central London
£29,000-£31,000 pa plus excellent benefits
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated physical sciences graduate to
join the physics in society team as Outreach Officer with responsibility for
www.physics.org.
The physics in society programme delivers a range of projects aimed at
making physics accessible to public audiences.
The post holder will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of
physics.org as well as managing the development of new functionality and
content. As part of the physics in society team, they will also help to
develop and deliver public engagement activities with other members of the
team.
Applicants should have proven ability of working on complex projects with a
variety of stakeholders and of working under their own initiative. They
should also be able to communicate science to public audiences and have
excellent team working skills.
This role requires an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure.
