Dear all,
The March edition of NRICH is now live at http://nrich.maths.org
We aim to offer engaging and challenging problems, articles and interactive
environments that offer opportunities for exploration.
The theme this month is Logic, a topic that is not usually encountered
explicitly in the school curriculum. Logic is more than just 'thinking
logically'. It introduces us to the need to use and write precise,
unambiguous statements. It requires the type of thinking needed when
programming computers.
You can go to:
Stage 1 & 2 http://nrich.maths.org/public/monthindex.php?mm=1 if you are
interested in mathematics at a level usually encountered at primary school.
Stage 2 & 3 http://nrich.maths.org/public/monthindex.php?mm=2 if you are
interested in mathematics at a level usually encountered at lower secondary
school.
Stage 3 & 4 http://nrich.maths.org/public/monthindex.php?mm=3 if you are
interested in mathematics at a level usually encountered at upper secondary
school.
Stage 4 & 5 http://nrich.maths.org/public/monthindex.php?mm=4 if you are
interested in mathematics usually encountered at post-16 level.
Alternatively, click on the links in the left-hand menu.
Solutions to the March problems will appear in May.
With best wishes from The NRICH Team.
