Dear List,
I'm trying to find out the basic history of Trelawney Consols, which worked two east-west copper lodes from a cross-cut adit just north of Calstock Church in East Cornwall. Its marked, apparently to its present extent, on Brenton Symons' 1848 Map of the Tamar Valley mining district, but although I've trawled the usual sources, I can't find anything on it.
Has anyone got any ideas?
