Several HIFA2015 and CHILD2015 members will be present at the
forthcoming Global Forum on Human Resources for Health. Furthermore, the
Global Health Workforce Alliance has scheduled a HIFA2015 constituency
meeting to take place at the Forum on 6th March. The whole 2-hour
meeting will be live on the internet, using Elluminate web conferencing.
The meeting will be facilitated by HIFA2015 members Tom Cook (professor
of occupational and environmental health at the University of Iowa, USA)
and Alena Petrakova (project manager, WHO Knowledge Management for
Public Health). Tom will be on-site in Kampala, and Alena will be at WHO
headquarters in Geneva. The participants will include HIFA2015 members
and other Global Forum delegates in Kampala. All HIFA2015/CHILD2015
members worldwide (and indeed anyone with an interest) are invited to
join via the internet. You will be able to hear and discuss the latest
news from this landmark conference, including the key features of the
new Global Action Plan for the health workforce. There will be
opportunities throughout for you to ask questions and take part in
discussion.
