Person Specification
Essential
1. A good first degree and a postgraduate qualification in an area of
Digital Film Production
2. Record of professional and/or industry experience and an ability to
lead on commercially-orientated projects
3. Successful experience of teaching Digital Film Production in HE and
a positive and innovative approach to teaching and assessment
4. A proven record of research or strong potential to develop an
appropriate research profile, and evidence of future publication
intentions
5. Experience in course and curriculum development at HE level
6. Excellent communication skills (oral and written); excellent
interpersonal skills and a commitment to team work and
multi-disciplinary work
7. Ability to use information/communication technology to support
administration and teaching and a willingness to develop on-line
teaching materials
Desirable
1 A completed or nearly-completed PhD in a relevant area
2 Experience of developing community based extramural activity and
industry training programmes
3 At least 3 years full time experience of teaching within higher
education, and an accredited teaching qualification for the higher
education environment or registered practitioner status with the H E
Academy. If these conditions are not fully met then completion of the
probationary period will be dependent on the successful completion of
the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher
Education which is delivered within University of Worcester.
