Families was launched on February 6th. The framework specifies actions to
tackle obesity by regional and local organisations with an interest in
helping families lead healthier lifestyles. It provides a North West
response to the national strategy calling for action, that was launched by
the Secretary of State for Health Alan Johnson on 23 January.
