Good afternoon, everyone
Alison has persuaded me to give a presentation entitled, Web 2
developments in music libraries, at the ASW this weekend. Her own
description is "what you actually use the web for in your work, with
specific relation to a conservatory library".
I think it might be more interesting if I could also flag up any Web 2
initiatives that other conservatoires are engaging in, so please could
any college librarians answer a few quick questions for me?
What I need to know is, do you use any of the following right now, or
do you plan to use any of them - or are there specific reasons why
not:-
Blogs
Facebook
Bebo
My Space
Moodle
Blackboard
YouTube
Flickr
Ask a librarian (your own version or specific software)
Any other web-based discussion boards with students or lecturers?
Please don't write an essay! but a return email with Yes/ No/ Maybe
would be most informative.
All the best and many thanks,
Karen McAulay
