Senior GIS Account Manager
£25-32 + Bonuses

Responsible for Account Management Team and the Accounts in the midlands
for a large GIS mapping consultancy.
Position Summary:
A key member of the Sales Department, responsible for the performance of
the Account Management team and their own account territory.
Responsible for existing customers in your territory and the regular work
they place with us.
Required to work closely with field sales to ensure we maximize all leads
and opportunities. Be the clients ambassador within the company and
champion their case.
Have a technical knowledge of the clients requirements and the industry.
Take a purchase order and manage it through to invoicing.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Manage the accounts team to ensure it delivers an effective and efficient
service to our clients.
Ensure the continued development of the accounts team and individual staff
implementing new processes and procedures if required
Be the single point of contact for all work we carry out for your assigned
clients
Process the order and set up the project on our management system,
Salesforce
Maintain all client information and contract progress on Salesforce.com
Manage and advise the client on timescales for the surveying, processing
and delivery of their contract.
Submit data to clients and ensure the quality of our deliverable meets the
expectation of the client and contract.
Monitor and control project costs and cost to complete to ensure the work
is profitable and costs are adequately maintained
Invoice jobs on a complete or part complete basis
Assist in pricing jobs and the submission of tenders
Ensure survey network maps are received and in the correct format
Prepare an up to date forecast of revenue and work
Liaise with Production to ensure all work is correctly scheduled
Receive customer feedback and draft case studies of work we have done for a
client
Take responsibility for and manage issues that transcend multiple
departments.

Proactive problem solver who can listen and evaluate
Ability to maintain multiple business priorities with in a client focuses
environment
Ability to generate new revenue, orders and opportunities from existing
work.
Proficient in building and maintaining relationships with end users.
Knowledge and skills required:
A proven track record in Account Management with experience directly
leading a team of staff.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Computer literate.
Staff performance monitoring and supervision.
Up selling to exiting clients.
Health and Safety Policy implementation.
Experience with Salesforce.
GIS and mapping technical knowledge.
Warwickshire with regular travel to clients in the midlands.
