Having almost completed the transfer of all the geology collections to
their new home, I find myself with a fairly large set of cupboards,
previously home to our petrology collection.
There are 95 drawers in total, in 5 columns (each column about 7' high).
As it stands they are in three units but a half-decent carpenter could
soon alter things.
The drawers are hardwood, made to a high standard. Most have a 100mm
depth, there are 9 of 150-200mm.
We're not looking for any fee for them, but ideally want the new owner to
collect (some leeway may be plausible there).
If any of you are interested, or know someone who might be, please get in
touch.
This will go in Museums Journal too (and I should probably get Tom to put
it in Coprolite).
Cheers,
David Craven
