Hi Friends,
I wanted to use TBSS in FSL for studying correlations between FA and
behavioral data. I found out from the past archives as to how it is to be
done using Glm. I performed the same but wanted to reconfirm if I did it
right as I am not able to see any significant results. We have two groups
(Patient and Control). But I would like to take it as a single group as we
dont have too many subjects and would like to see in general as to how the
behavioral data correlates with all the subject irrespective of their
dignoses. The following were my design and contrast matrix. Please let me
know if I did it right.
Design Matrix:
No. of Subjects: 25 (PAT+CON)
a 1
b 1
c 1
d 1
e 1
f 1
g 1
h 1
i 1
j 1
k 1
l 1
m 1
n 1
o 1
p 1
q 1
r 1
s 1
t 1
u 1
v 1
w 1
x 1
y 1
Contrast Matrix:
1 1
-1 -1
I wanted to see both positive and negative correlations of FA with
behavioral data and hence had two contrasts. But after running the
permutation I got only one set of stat images (i.e) tbss_tstat1 and
tbss_max_tstat1. I overlaid this image over the mean FA skeleton and set
the threshold between 0.95 and 1, but could not see any significant areas
where there was any kind of correlation. I would like to know if there is
anything wrong with the procedure I used so I can conclude if there is a
correlation or not.
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Priti
